This policy explains what information Red Katana ("we," "us") collects when you join our VIP list, visit our website, or communicate with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. Use of our VIP program and text messaging is also governed by our Terms of Service.

01Information We Collect

Information you give us

• Your name, email address, and mobile phone number when you join our VIP list, for example by scanning a QR code in our restaurant.
• Your communication preferences and consent choices, including the date, time, and method of any consent to receive text messages.
• Anything you send us directly, such as replies to our messages or private feedback about your visit.
• Offer redemption information, such as whether you have used a VIP offer.

Information collected automatically

• Basic technical data when you visit our web pages, such as browser type, device type, and pages viewed, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
• Whether you open our emails or click links in our emails and text messages, which helps us avoid sending you unnecessary follow-ups.

02How We Use Your Information

• To deliver the VIP offer you signed up for and confirm your membership.
• To send you updates, specials, and promotions by email and, if you opted in, by text message.
• To follow up after your visit, including inviting you to share feedback or leave a public review. Every guest on our list receives the same invitation regardless of their experience, and no reward is ever offered in exchange for a review.
• To respond to your questions, feedback, and requests.
• To improve our food, service, and communications.
• To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

03Text Messaging & Mobile Information

We use your mobile number only to send the messages you agreed to receive and to operate our messaging program. Our messaging service providers process your number solely to deliver those messages on our behalf. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out. Full messaging terms are in our Terms of Service.

04How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:

• With service providers that help us operate, such as our customer relationship management, email, and text messaging platforms, which may use it only to provide services to us.
• When required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our guests, our staff, or others.
• In connection with a sale, merger, or transfer of our business, subject to this policy.

The text messaging restrictions in Section 03 apply to every category above.

05Public Reviews

If you choose to leave a review on Google or another platform, that review is public and governed by that platform's own terms and privacy policy, not ours. Private feedback you send directly to us is shared only with our management team so we can respond.

06Your Choices

• Email: Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email.
• Text messages: Reply STOP to opt out, or HELP for help.
• Access or deletion: Email [email protected] to request a copy of your information or ask us to delete it. We may keep limited records where required by law, such as a record of your opt-out so we can honor it.

07Data Retention & Security

We keep your information while you remain on our list and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and record-keeping purposes. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

08Children

Our VIP list and messaging programs are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

09Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised. Continued participation in our VIP list after changes means you accept the updated policy.
